Verdine’s mission is to bring healthy, plant-based, locally sourced, and seasonally inspired food to Houstonians. We strive to craft every dish rooted in balanced nutritional, utilizing whole, plant-based ingredients with global influences and innovative twists on traditional vegan cuisine. We value integrity in both the service to our customers and the ingredients we source. We value a quality and consistent experience for our customers and the dishes we create. We’re committed to serving food which reflects our manta, ‘Eat with a Purpose’. We value the health benefits, the concerns about the environment, the ethical convictions, and the pleasure seeking aspects of the food we serve just as our customers do.

We operate as a ‘counter service’ restaurant from 11 am - 4 pm Starting at 4 pm.

We offer wait staff service & our dinner menu starts at 5 pm. We exclusively serve Brunch every Sunday. We accept to-go pick up orders placed directly through us by phone, via our online store or at the counter. We are available for delivery via UberEats and our online store (executed by Postmates).

Stephanie Hoban – Founder, Owner & Executive Chef

Stephanie Hoban first began selling her plant based meals in 2013 at her farmer’s market stand. Since then, her passion for making healthy food and a plant-based diet more achievable and enjoyable has driven her successful operation of a food truck business, Ripe Cuisine, and now, Verdine, named Houston’s Best Vegan Restaurant 2020 & 2021. Not only a trained Natural Foods Chef, Stephanie holds a Masters Degree in Nutrition and is also a Registered Dietitian. Inspired by the spices and techniques of global cuisines and motivated to demonstrate the benefits of a plant based diet she continues to curate our menu to inspire everyone to ‘Eat with a Purpose’.
